Tower Inflatable Paddle Board Reviews

At InflatableBoarder.com, we concentrate our focus on publishing Tower iSUP reviews. While Tower also sells an impressive line of hard paddle boards (as well as SUP paddles and accessories), we much prefer inflatable paddle boards due to their light weight, amazing portability, and overall versatility.

At this time, Tower’s lineup of inflatable paddle boards has a total of six models spread across four lines: the Adventurer, Xplorer, iRace, and Special Edition boards. Whether you’re interested in an inflatable paddle board for racing, touring, or recreation, there’s one that’s right for you in Tower’s inflatable SUP lineup.

Tower paddle boards are known for being an excellent value, and each and every board sold by Tower is backed by their awesome 2 year warranty.

Where are Tower Paddle Boards Made?

Some of the boards in Tower’s SUP lineup are manufactured in a high-end factory in Thailand, and others are made in more budget friendly factories in China. In addition to Tower, these factories also produce stand up paddle boards for many other SUP companies.

All of the Tower paddle boards that are manufactured in these Asian factories are imported into the U.S. and sent directly to Tower’s San Diego headquarters. Tower then bypasses the traditional retail sales model and sells direct to consumers.

Tower Adventurer 9’10”

The Tower Adventurer 9’10” paddle board is the most popular model in Tower’s inflatable SUP lineup.

This is an excellent all-around iSUP that is stable and extremely fun to paddle. The overall construction is very solid, and the board has a nice thickness of 6″ and good rigidity.

Tower Adventurer 2 10’4″

The Tower Adventurer 2 is the big brother of the Adventurer 9’10”. Since the Adventurer 2 is a longer board, it is faster and will also support additional weight.

Tower also added an extra handle at the board’s nose and tail which makes it super easy to pull out of the water, as well as a much-needed bungee cord cargo area for securing gear.

Tower iRace 12’6″

The Tower iRace 12’6″ SUP is a super fast inflatable paddle board that is designed for touring and SUP racing.

The iRace cuts nicely through wind and chop, and the longer length makes it really easy to paddle long distances on this board. Since the iRace is a bit narrower than Tower’s other inflatable paddle boards, there’s a slight tradeoff in the stability department.

Tower Xplorer 14′

The Tower Xplorer 14′ inflatable SUP is a big, fast racing and touring board that is a whopping 8″ thick.

Not surprisingly, the Xplorer is stable in the water, and it’s capable of supporting an impressive 700 pounds of weight. It’s a strong contender for the best SUP for big guys, and it’s also perfect for paddling around the kids and pets.
