SUP Overview
The 2019 ISLE Megalodon 12′ is a massively big SUP board that is designed for maximum group fun. ISLE Surf & SUP offers the Megalodon in both 12′ and 15′ versions this season, and the 12′ model is a great choice for families and small groups who want to enjoy some multi-paddler fun on the water.
As with all of ISLE’s inflatable paddle boards, the Megalodon 12′ sports an eye-catching design and it’s offered in two beautiful color schemes this year: Aqua, and Grey.
The Megalodon 12′ iSUP is an extremely versatile board that’s great for SUP fishing, paddling around children and pets, fitness workouts, or simply as a fun on-the-water party platform.
The top of the board features a brushed EVA foam traction pad, center carrying handle, and eight grab handles conveniently located along the sides of the board for easier handling in and around the water.
Located at the nose of the Megalodon 12′ is a large 6-point bungee storage area that can be used to stash dry bags, backpacks, flip flops, snorkeling gear, and more.
On the underside of the board is a five fin setup with four permanently fixed fins and a large removable center fin for improved stability and tracking performance.
Measuring 12′ x 45″ x 8″ and packing 584 liters of volume, ISLE’s Megalodon 12′ takes a bit longer to pump up than the typically sized inflatable paddle board. To speed up the inflation process, the company has included two Halkey-Roberts inflation valves at the tail as well as two dual-action pumps.
