SUP Overview
Measuring 11’ x 34” x 5”, the Earth River SUP 11-0 V3 is a wider and slightly longer board than the popular ERS 10-0 V3 model. Perfect for larger paddlers who need a versatile board for a wide variety of paddling activities and water conditions, the 11-0 V3 can pretty much handle it all including kids and dogs!
Recommended for flat water paddling, SUP fitness, whitewater, fishing, and choppy conditions, the ERS 11-0 V3 is a good board to consider if you need a stable ride that can do a lot well. It’s also a solid choice for beginners who want a high-quality, easy to ride board to get started on. For those in search of additional speed, we’d recommend checking out the Earth River SUP 12-6 V3.
Covering the top deck of the 11-0 V3 is a premium traction pad with a diamond groove pattern for maximum grip and comfort. The tail section of the board’s traction pad features a kick tail and raised foot bar for increased control while in the surf or performing pivot turns.
Positioned at the tail of the board is a high-quality inflation valve. There’s also a D-ring for securing a SUP leash.
Mid-board is a cushioned carry handle which makes it easy to carry the 11-0 V3 around when it’s fully inflated.
For those times when you’re bringing along gear, there’s a handy 4-point bungee cargo area at the nose. Providing ample space for a dry bag, SUP life jacket, or snorkeling gear, the elastic shock cord gives you a quick and convenient way to secure your gear while out on the water.
On the board’s underside are three removable fins which have been optimally placed for reduced drag and improved tracking performance. The center fin uses a universal US fin box while the smaller side fins are click fins.
Paddlers in search of versatility will appreciate the fact that Earth River SUP includes their LAKE RIVER COAST fin package with the 11-0 V3. In addition to two sets of side click fins (4.5” and 2”), ERS also throws in four US center fins (9”, 8”, 4.5”, and 3”), giving you a setup that’ll work regardless of paddling conditions. Of course, the universal center fin box can also be used with many other fins on the market, including FCS Connect fins.
Like many of the inflatable SUP boards we’ve reviewed, the Earth River SUP 11-0 V3 is constructed from the highest-quality 1000 denier drop-stitch core, well-known in the industry for its superior shape-maintaining abilities.
