SUP Overview

The BŌTE Rover Aero is an innovative new inflatable fishing SUP that offers unmatched versatility. Far more than your everyday inflatable paddle board, the Rover Aero can also take a motor and function as a skiff, tender, dinghy, and more.

Measuring 12’6” x 40.5” x 11” and weighing in at 63 pounds, this is no small fishing rig. However, despite the size when fully inflated, the Rover Aero can be quickly deflated and packed down into a convenient carrying bag for easy transport and storage.

We’ve yet to see a bad looking iSUP from BŌTE and the new Rover Aero looks amazing as you’d expect. The wood grain graphics, branding, and color scheme look incredible. At the moment, the board is only offered in BŌTE’s Classic style but we anticipate that there will be more designs offered in the future as seen with their other inflatable paddle boards.

Capable of supporting up to 500 pounds of weight, the Rover Aero can handle a ton of gear, accessories, and the largest of anglers. This board packs plenty of buoyancy and is designed for serious use.

Unlike most inflatable paddle boards, the Rover Aero features two inflation chambers and there are valves positioned at the nose and tail of the SUP.

The board’s unique design features thick rails, a flat bottom, and sunken cockpit for a lower center of gravity. All of these elements work together to make BŌTE’s Rover Aero one of the most stable inflatable SUPs on the market this season.

Covering the top deck of the board is a premium grade EVA foam traction pad with a custom BŌTE logo grip pattern. The pad is heat-sealed to repel moisture and designed for maximum traction and all-day comfort.

The Rover Aero Features a carrying handle mid-board and there are additional handles at the nose and tail, making it easy to manage things in and around the water.

Multiple Rac mounts give you the ability to customize the Rover Aero to your specifications. Easily attached to the board are BŌTE’s Grab, Bucket, or Tackle Rac. There also a number of 1/4:20 accessory mounts and high-quality tie-downs for securing your cooler.

Like the Rackham Aero, the Rover Aero also comes with a Paddle Sheath for stashing your paddle and a Sandspear Sheath to hold BŌTE’s Sandspear anchor. There are also mounts at the tail for securing a Power-Pole Micro wireless shallow water anchor.

For those who prefer to motor around, BŌTE throws in their Motorac mount which makes it quick and easy to secure a motor to the rear of the board. Mercury Marine’s 6hp 4-Stroke Outboard pairs nicely with the Rover Aero, providing excellent throttle response, fuel efficiency, and quiet operation.

Lastly, on the underside of the board are two permanently fixed unbreakable fins and two large removable fins for improved tracking performance (these are removed when using a motor).

BŌTE includes a very nice bundle of accessories with the Rover Aero. In the box are the following:

  • AeroGo rechargeable electric pump
  • Wheeled travel bag
  • Remora accessory bag
  • Motorac and receivers
  • Rac receivers
  • 3-piece adjustable SUP paddle
  • Grab strap
  • Dual-action manual pump
  • Paddle Sheath
  • Sandspear Sheath
  • Repair kit

One of this year’s best fishing SUPs, the Rover Aero is built from the ground up to be the ultimate platform for serious angling. BŌTE backs the board with a 1-year warranty which covers manufacturing defects and it’s also important to note that there are plenty of additional accessories that you can add on to further personalize this SUP.
